Always Tomorrow: Book Two is now available on Amazon in Kindle, Paperback, and Hardback.
I will be giving a signed, hardback copy of Book One and Book Two to three readers who can answer a question about the book. Expect the question to be posted here end of July/first of August (sooner if I can get busy). I will also give updates and a “heads up” on my Facebook page. The rules (yes, those pesky rules) will be simple:
*The first three correct answers will be sent signed copies as outlined above
*Answers must be sent by email only (that will provide detailed date and time answers are received. Your email information WILL NOT BE SHARED WITH ANYONE)
*Family members (mine) and friends (also mine) who know the answer because I told you before because I can’t keep a secret, are ineligible, so don’t even bother. (that should narrow my friends down a bit!) And you know who you are. Sorry. You’ll have to wait til Christmas.
*Yes, this is a shameless promotion stunt to possibly sell more books. Can’t blame me for trying
Ben Dawson, a young Army Sergeant, has his entire military career in front of him. Though a good soldier, he is certainly not a super hero. He just wants to progress through the Army as a Warrent Officer, marry the girl he loves, and enjoy the Army adventure. But fate deals him a different hand. Together with a few high school buddies, they muddle through what has become a national security threat, for which they are ill prepared.
Agent Pepsy Flynn. Young, career oriented, strong , and efficient, she loves her job working for an un-named government agency. As close to a super hero the gang has ever met, she enters their lives to help unravel the mystery that has brought grief and terror to the small group.
Evil comes in many, unexpected forms. What appears to be a harmless man, turns out to be the face of evil itself, stopping at nothing to carry out his plans of global control. His mastery of time and teleportation wreak chaos onto those who stand in his way.
Duke, Ben’s loyal companion. By his master’s side since he was a mere puppy, he is intelligent, perceptive, and fiercely loyal. And maybe more than anyone thinks he is.
a Short Bio of the Author
Jim Perry has compiled numerous meaningful moments of his life in “Growing up, Jimmy.” It was written to keep Mr. Perry’s family history alive for generations to come. The author has beautifully penned down a significant part of his childhood, various instances from his adulthood, and countless moments from his life to laugh, cry, and learn from in his autobiography. With the hidden wisdom inside its pages, the book has a beautiful message to convey, “Life is short and should be enjoyed through work, interests, music, and, perhaps most importantly, the people we meet along the way. I am not famous nor wealthy, but I wouldn't trade my life for any other. Fame and fortune come in many different forms. I've had my share of both. Enjoy life, every minute of it, because Jimmy said so.”
A sneak peek at a portion of Book Two FOR July
Struggling to draw in air, Ben could feel himself losing consciousness. He could feel Duke place himself next to his prone body, the dog fighting just as hard as he to inhale air that failed to let either one of them to take it. Ben’s vision blurred to static. His arms felt like stone.
This can’t be happening, Ben thought. So close, so close to Allie. God, please don’t let her suffer, there’s got……..to……….be, and his world left him
